Why I support Barack Obama

In these very depressing times with friends and families losing their homes, friends losing their loved ones in Iraq and Afghanistan and with the Oil prices like everything else at the highest in years, I saw a hope. I saw a Hope for Change from the past of a country: "Of the Rich, By the Rich and For the Rich".

Words are very powerful. When I hear Hillary criticizes Barack on how good he speaks, it reminds me of the Royal Bank Of Scotland ad where this person is speaking to a Church crowd and makes them all fall asleep. If you know history, powerful leaders have been able to avoid wars, make treaties and help the country prosper only by using their WORDS. Barack has the gift of Words just like JFK did. And history has it the JFK was a great president.

With Barack I have Hope that this country can Grow again. That this country can feel secure again. That people here wont have to be under a constant threat of a Red or and Orange alert. The question that I keep asking myself over and over again in the last few days is are we safer than when we went into the War. Safety is in the Minds my Friends. Today all American sleep with fear. This fear was not induced by constant bombing by Bin Laden by by the constant Red and Orange alerts by our government. Our government has used these alerts to induce fear in us so that they can do what they want when they want it. Are you really surprised that the gas costs you $4 today?
